We were thrilled to be part of the Churches Together tent at the Carnival and decided to use our display to raise awareness of the Community Fish farm project in Bereko. We had three activities: paint a fish mask, throw a fish and hook a fish. We charged just 20p for a go at the Throw a fish and Hook a fish games but still raised £50! Some people just put more money in the pot because they wanted to support our work.
All in all, the carnival was a great success and many more people in Paddock Wood are now aware of our partnership and our work.

And last but definitely not least, Rev'd Canon Bryan Knapp in the tug of war competition, wearing his shirt made in Bereko. His team won (of course!).
